Royal Winter Fair Sketches

Last weekend I spent my Saturday at the Royal Winter Fair, and put together this compilation of sketches and studies.  While I was there I was also interviewed by CBC's own Sook-Yin Lee to talk about what I was drawing.  The podcast can be found here.  I don't appear until around 34-35 minutes in.  None the less, here are some drawing!

Sherrif Sqwarrel

I like this character design much more then Benson the Bear.  Here is Sherrif Sqwarrel (Sheriff Squirrel), the antagonist.  He wants Benson's land but his short temper does not convince the gentle bear to hand over the farm.
